Lukas Manuel Ranft worked as a research assistant at Goethe University. He worked in the field of financial data infrastructure. In particular, he is interested in end-users’ application scenarios for multinational financial data and the efficient and customer-oriented design of such databases.

One of his research projects, commissioned by the European Union, aimed at designing a multinational data model to provide researchers, firms, and policymakers with European historical financial data for which national data sets would be insufficient.
