Towards Trusted Data Sharing
Traditionally, data has been held in silos and was rarely shared with other organizations. However, recently data sharing across organizations is becoming more and more important as evidenced by governmental and industrial initiatives such as the EU data strategy. To support this trend, new data management solutions are required that optimally address the additional challenges and concerns that are introduced by data sharing. In this talk, we will provide an overview of the challenges that data sharing systems need to solve and show how they are addressed in our data sharing system TrustDBle. TrustDBle is a new data sharing platform that provides additional trust and auditability guarantees while preserving the ease-of-use and scalability of classical data management solutions. It is developed at the Data- and AI-Systems lab at the TU Darmstadt.
