M.Sc. Orian Mahlow
Research Assistant
Orian Mahlow holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a M.Sc. in Business Analytics from ESADE Business School in Barcelona. He is a former scholar of the German National Academic Foundation and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation.
Orian gained extensive international work experience prior to venturing into academia. After completing high school, he spent a year working in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) as civil servant. During his studies, Orian was employed as research assistant for Prof. Chwieroth (LSE) and supported on research for his recently published book The Wealth Effect. Orian also worked as research assistant for Prof. Waldinger (formerly University of Warwick, now LMU). During his studies Orian conducted several consulting internships at Deloitte Consulting, Bain & Company and Oliver Wyman. Prior to moving to Frankfurt, Orian worked as Associate at Oliver Wyman in Dubai, where he mainly served regional CMT clients.
In his free time Orian is an avid traveler, he enjoys cooking and is always hunting for the best espresso roasters and wine bars.
